Thanks for visiting - been takin' a break. Sort of...

Update 4/28/2017 - Full throttle, unintended acceleration has now been officially linked to a software defect, no room for doubt. Here's more. So we now know that a faulty DOOR can cause a vehicle to speed out of control whether in drive or park, and the problem hasn't occurred in older models. AMAZING what's revealed when auto-industry-lapdog NHTSA is removed from investigating instances of unintended acceleration. This comes at a time when motorists may FINALLY be catching on to the scam of "driver error," evidenced in this lawsuit against Tesla.

5/4/2017 - As a corrupt, corporate-controlled government turns its back on the public, this just in: Multiple fatalities and injuries re the well-documented, ongoing problem with unintended acceleration in Jeeps. Here's a link to another article. And another with video.

"If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one." - Robert LeFevre

Americans are literally under siege by a tyrannical government - Repukes n Demagogues alike - in cahoots with crooked corporations.

I got into it with AT&T after getting fed up with robocalls, and May 13, 2015 ushered in an absence of home phone and Internet. This prompted a resumption of using my bicycle instead of my car for shopping, etc. Bicycling to buy groceries, etc. started in June of 2013, prompted by an extended dispute with State Farm which left me temporarily without a car. The purposeful rides - I'd always been suckered into using my bicycle as nothing more than an recreational toy - turned out to be more fun than the ol' proverbial barrel of monkeys, and my trips now include visits to a pay phone, and a computer at the library. Ah, the unadulterated pleasure of sockin' it to the telephone, oil, automotive, and insurance industries while simultaneously savin' money, havin' fun, and enjoyin' great exercise.

I love my new routine, but it sure has taken a great deal of getting used to. And wunna the places I cut back on wuz exposin' all those never-ending issues with Toyota. Not that there haven't been any. As always, there have been more than I ever had time to blog about, even when I had Internet access at my home.

When my Toyota blogging was interrupted, I got word from one of my sources that there had been yet another Ruginis-type story, and as usual NHTSA refused to acknowledge evidence of electronically-induced unintended acceleration. Crashes raising questions of software defects have continued without pause, and the barrage of stories had come to be downright monotonous. A Toyota speeds out of control, mainstream media intentionally misleads the public, trolls attack anyone who dares to criticize Toyota, comments are unfairly moderated in favor of Toyota, and NHTSA looks the other way. Or perhaps it's another defective safety product, such as Toyota's latest seat-belt fiasco involving the RAV4, RAV4 EV, and Vanguard SUV, again evidencing a so-called regulatory agency that protects the often blood-spattered interests of crooked, money-grubbing corporations. These points have been made over and over again throughout this blog.

Nonetheless, I'll take this opportunity to highlight two more examples.

The first involves a Lexus that sped out of control, resulting in catastrophic injuries, and an ongoing, many-years-long effort of suing Toyota. This case is unique in that it is headed for a courtroom showdown, and the driver's attorney has posted a summary of Azar Hadi's case.

The second involves last month's horrific injuries resulting from another Lexus crash, the circumstances of which are eerily similar to the landmark case - Bookout v. Toyota in Oklahoma - which exposed Toyota's defective software and put the now-admitted-crook in settlement mode for the majority of crashes suggesting electronically-induced unintended acceleration.

Folks, it ain't really the government. It ain't even murderous, crooked corporations like Toyota, GM, Takata, etc. ad nauseum. The problem is a brain-dead, tail-tucked public that tolerates a repulsive little oligarchy run by filthy-rich slobs who kick consumers around with impunity.

Update 3/18/2016 - For quite some time, none of my blog posts will display properly on Facebook, and this is far from the first time I've had issues with the Zuckerberg gang.

Update 3/21/2016 - I quit voting long ago, and I don't wanna stray too far off topic, but former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts addresses the abysmal state of the American public, asking "Are Americans too insouciant to survive?"

Update 3/23/2016 - The inescapable conclusion that software defects are causing vehicles to speed out of control has become so obvious - and frequent - EVEN THE POLICE have started asking NHTSA to investigate, forcing mainstream media to expose a few "uncomfortable truths" about the issue. Of course - as Toyota whistleblower Betsy Benjamin notes in her blog post - the police will be waiting "A VERY LONG TIME..." for NHTSA to admit the truth.

Update 3/24/2016 - Yesterday, the exceptionally well-credentialed electronic engineer Dr. Antony Anderson published a case study exposing NHTSA's unjustified denial of a request to investigate an episode of unintended acceleration.

Update 3/29/2016 - A crash in my necka the woods - W. Columbia, SC - was met with typical mainstream media secrecy by local "News Leader" WIS-TV. No info re make, model, etc., and the station says their "corporate office company wide" dictated removal of a comment section. After a firestorm of complaints erupted on Twitter, WIS updated their story, revealing that the vehicle was a Jeep and that the driver told first-responders that he didn't know what happened. Considering Jeep's notoriety for unintended acceleration events, nobody can be blamed for questioning the allegation that this crash resulted from an "apparent seizure." WIS-TV should give the public details about how this was determined, but don't count on it. South Carolina's "News Leader" still declines to reveal the vehicle model.

Updates 4/8/2016 - I'm now exposing the probate racket in South Carolina, and lemme just emphasize that the main point of this post isn't my various activities. Point is, the entire country is pervasively corrupt.

The lawsuits against Toyota just keep coming - here's a well-written summary of one of this year's cases.

Update 5/25/2016 - This article from late last year shows the frequency of unintended acceleration events suggesting defective vehicles. And... it is becoming more common for the police to ask for NHTSA's help due to suspicions of defects causing unintended acceleration events. Too bad NHTSA (No Help To Solve Anything) is owned by the auto industry.

Update 8/30/2016 - Toyota has delayed Azar Hadi's court date from this October until January 2016. And

Update 10/23/2016 - I've published a separate post about Azar Hadi's case.

Update 11/20/2016 - Still as pleased as ever with my "new" routine, which I've now been enjoying for more than a year and a half. Shopping, running errands, etc. on my bicycle is probably the most fun I've ever had in my life - been using my bicycle instead of my car about 95% of the time.

Toyota, trolls, and the government's assault on free speech

Efforts to block readers from visiting this blog have been on the increase lately, epitomized by a recent skirmish with Houston's ABC-13 over a story they cooked up which criticized cops for refusing to file charges against the driver of a runaway Lexus. Granted, operations such as Houston's ABC-13 are privately owned, and from a legal standpoint, permitted to "moderate" discussions as they see fit. Problem is, with rare exception, we have a corporate-controlled mainstream media, fearful of losing broadcast licenses if they cross ol' Sammy, and fearful of losing advertising dollars if they cross corporate interests. Factor in anonymous comments generated by so-called reputation management companies, and it all boils down to making a mockery of a free press, including a deceitful assault on free speech.

The government is too cowardly to limit free speech outright. So it's done the "American Way," with behind-the-scenes maneuvering designed to maintain the appearance of freedom while cleverly placing shackles on those who dare to speak truth. Especially in this age of the Internet.

The government and its mainstream media stooges have been determined to keep word from spreading about evidence galore pointing to electronic defects in Toyota's throttle control. The "Just Us" Department underscored ol' Sammy's unwritten directive with a high-handed "No comment" when a freelance reporter for trade journal EE Times dared to confront Holder's gang with the facts. David Benjamin's EE Times' article exposing what happened ranks in my book as wunna the all-time masterpieces of investigative journalism.

ABC-13's article is typical of the propaganda bandied about under the guise of journalism. Their "legal analyst" feigns ignorance of the electronics issue associated with vehicles speeding out of control, and there's no report of what the Lexus driver said happened. But perhaps the most glaring omission - as ABC-13 spotlights the driver's age - is a discussion of how extremely difficult it is to stop vehicles when electronic defects get the upper hand. A recent seminar at Carnegie-Mellon took a close look at the issue - see slide number 8 - as part of a presentation on electronically-induced unintended acceleration. Notice that brake pressure is normally in the 15 to 43.6 pounds range, whereas a whopping 175 pounds of force is required when vehicles accelerate on their own. Back in 2010, Consumer Reports ran an article, complete with a video, that corroborates Dr. Koopman's presentation. It's preposterous to believe that Houston's ABC-13 is unaware of the facts.

ABC-13's article smacks of a corporate-controlled ploy intended to mislead the public and have a chilling effect on cops declining to charge drivers when vehicles speed out of control. Absence of charges raises questions that admitted crooks like Toyota doesn't want people askin'.

The first response to my comment was an insulting, mindless "reply" from an anonymous source, then came the removal of my comment, while the anonymous blabber - quite likely associated with a troll employed by a reputation management firm - was permitted to remain posted. Here's a copy of my now-deleted comment, and the troll's "reply":

Parris Boyd:
ABC-13 legal analyst Joel Androphy has never heard of electronically-induced unintended acceleration? Especially in Toyotas? Especially in the admitted crook's much-ballyhooed Lexus? Where ya been, Joel? Trying to cover up for the auto industry? ABC should be addressing the epidemic of runaway vehicles crashing into buildings. The Miami Herald dared to discuss the issue. Parking - not age - is the biggest common denominator, and how about telling us what the DRIVER said happened? There's evidence GALORE of electronic defects in Toyota's throttle control, and I've been blogging about it. Search "Beware of Toyota. Their next victim may be YOU..."

disqus_J5VKk8FJ
Dumb again, Parrisite. Another case of old lady driver error. "The woman, who police said was 70 years old, was not intoxicated according to officers on the scene. Police said she hit the gas instead of the breaks while she was trying to park her Lexus SUV outside the restaurant."

This is not the first time mainstream media in Texas - a state proud to host the new North American headquarters for a murderous, admitted crook like Toyota - has taken exception to my comments and made sure that neither Toyota nor the public read my views. How many other comments get axed in the Lone Star state for being critical of the Coverup King is anyone's guess.

The government's propaganda-censorship game isn't limited to Texas, and this certainly isn't the first time I've written posts about the issue. What's important to realize is that ABC-13's behavior exemplifies the kinda stuff going on all across the country regarding every topic imaginable. Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts targets the issue in his latest article, "The Prospect of Nuclear War." Just out of curiosity - not that I have proof of any - I inquired about the cost to protect this blog from Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) Attacks. The bill would come to $3,000 per month. Real hoot, but at least I got a thigh-slappin' laugh out of it. Not to mention a far better appreciation of the costs associated with politically-sensitive websites that make a serious effort at maximizing hits.

Alluding to this sorry state of affairs in his 9/14/2014 call for donations (preface to "Washington's War on Russia"), Dr. Roberts sums things up admirably: "It will not be long before only a masochist will be willing to speak the truth in the United States or in any country of the West."

Jury awards Plaintiff $12 million in Toyota lap belt case

“The whole courtroom was in tears, and so was the jury. The evidence was strong; it was an absolute slam dunk.” - Chelsie Hill's father, quoted by KSBW.com news.

Who woulda thought? Coverup King and now-admitted-crook Toyota is having problems convincing juries that it's telling the truth. No wonder Toyota prefers out-of-court, confidential settlements. Even more so since it lost that landmark unintended acceleration case in Oklahoma last October.

It's a real shame that consumers have to file expensive, time consuming, and emotionally draining lawsuits to stand a chance of prevailing against crooked corporations like Toyota. Equally bad that we have a corporate-controlled government kissin' up to these crooks by manufacturing bald-faced lies - no, NASA did NOT rule out electronic defects as a cause of unintended acceleration - and simply "refusing to comment" if anyone dares to confront the auto industry's repulsive little puppets with a few facts.

In Hill's case - involving a 4Runner - admitted-crook Toyota is "expected to appeal." Is anyone surprised?

Update 10/18/14 - Another article puts the situation in proper perspective. Hill's lawyer says "Toyota misled the public about the safety of their lap belts and now there are millions of people out there driving those cars," and Ben Kelley, a Center for Auto Safety board member who testified at the trial, points out that "As of 2014, there are more than 3 million Toyota vehicles with at least one lap belt - similar to the one Hill wore - driving in the U.S."

Update 10/19/2014 - VIDEO: former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts offers some GREAT comments on the revolving door twixt this corrupt government's so-called regulators and the industries they puppet for, paving the way for lucrative jobs in those industries. NHTSA (No Help To Solve Anything) and Toyota are prime examples, which probably explains how Toyota's lap belts squeaked by "safety regulators" in the first place. Kudos to Dr. Roberts for pointing out that Americans no longer care if someone has the reputation of being a crook.

Dealership needs to blame Toyota for my picketing

My picketing in front of West Columbia, South Carolina's new Fred Anderson Toyota dealership has continued pretty regularly. This week, one of their employees walked up with a less than cordial demeanor and asked me what my sign, "BEWARE OF TOYOTA" meant. Said he didn't understand the word "beware," so I referred him to a dictionary.

Not long ago, wunna their employees came out and glared at me, and when I first showed up to picket, management came out, told me I couldn't stand in front of the dealership, and then called the cops. Kinda makes ya wonder if they've ever heard of free speech.

I won't belabor the absurdity of sales personnel asking what "beware" means, but the response to my picketing suggests that Toyota's dealerships are influenced by the deceitfulness and bullying tactics of the admitted crook they represent. I'm not surprised that folks have been coming up to tell me of bad experiences they've had at Fred Anderson Toyota.

Instead of targeting me, why doesn't the dealership target admitted-crook Toyota? Why aren't they outraged over corporate crookedness supported by a bought-and-paid-for government? Apparently, the gang at Fred Anderson Toyota thinks it's okay for corporations to stonewall, lie, and treat customers like dirt. So what if MR2 Spyder owners lost the better part of $10,000 due to an obvious manufacturing defect? Toyota's victims are expected to keep their tails firmly tucked as they acquiesce.

The Anderson gang would be better advised to expend their energies going after Toyota. Find the integrity and courage to tell an admitted crook that dishonesty is a bad idea and its putting the dealership at risk of losing business. Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts tells it like it is about the sorry state of affairs in this country: "The city upon the hill, the light unto the world, the home of the exceptional, indispensable people is the home of Satan’s lies where truth is prohibited and war is the end game."

Fred Anderson Toyota needs to realize that their enemy isn't free speech. Their enemy is a corporate-controlled government epitomized by murderous crooks like GM and Toyota.

Epidemic of vehicles crashing into buildings makes headlines

The auto industry and its crooked friends in government must be gettin' nervous as word spreads, not only about evidence of defects in electronic throttle controls, but also about the outrageous number of vehicles crashing into buildings. I quickly found that there are way too many to keep up with, and the auto industry's mainstream media stooges usually keep things quiet about vehicle makes, models, and driver accounts of what happened.

Enter the "storefront barrier" scam, which I addressed in a previous blog post. Depend on this conniving government and the auto industry - epitomized by the likes of GM and Toyota - to exploit safety precautions in the name of greed. To pull out all the stops in a last-ditch effort to dupe a gullible public into focusing on anything except sloppily designed electronic throttle controls.

So many vehicles are crashing into building from parking lots that people are startin' to talk.

The government's mainstream media stooges were already lookin' sillier by the day for refusing to discuss compelling evidence of electronic defects. Then word started spreading about the high number of vehicles crashing into buildings, especially from parking lots, carwashes, etc. Something had to be done to save face - or at least attempt to - so the Miami Herald (lest we forget, Florida is home to the headquarters of Southeast Toyota) runs a piece of sheer garbage, focusing on storefront barriers, and pretending to have never heard of the overwhelming evidence of electronic defects in throttle controls. 'Cept for all those pesky injuries and deaths, the article would be a thigh-slapper. Storefront barriers are simply no substitute for properly designed electronic throttle controls.

Are Americans really so gullible? So manipulated by propaganda that they can't discern the truth? One has to be either ignorant of the facts or stupid beyond belief not to notice the Herald's glaring ommision of even the slightest mention of electronic throttle controls, much less the mountain of evidence pointing to lousy, save-a-buck designs devoid of adequate failsafes such as those mandated for years in the airline industry.

Take, for example, the blabber from Mark Wright and Rob Reiter, ballyhooed as "experts" in storefront safety, yet apparently unaware of Michael Barr finding a slew of defects in Toyota's electronic throttle control or Honda's recent admission of an electronic defect causing unintended acceleration in their vehicles. They also musta not heard that unintended acceleration has gotten so bad at carwashes that at least one business is documenting which vehicles are prone to suddenly speed out of control (Jeeps are notorious), and is furnishing carwash employees - no, they don't tend to be elderly - with a list. It's downright disgraceful when carwashes are better than NHTSA is at discerning mechanical defects in motor vehicles.

Seriously, folks. Does anyone believe that "experts" such as Wright, Reiter, and others - cops, mechanics, journalists, etc. - are unaware of electronic issues associated with the epidemic of vehicles crashing into buildings? Wright and Reiter's enthusiasm for blaming drivers is almost as ridiculous as the Miami Herald's choice of people to interview for their "story." Wonder how many auto-related advertising dollars the Herald would lose if the sorry little rag dared to publish an interview with Michael Barr.

As admitted-crook Toyota bullies whistleblower Betsy Benjaminson - using the single mother of four as a battering ram against free speech - nobody should be fooled by the well-orchestrated antics of the auto industry, its crooked friends in government and elsewhere, and presstitute media stooges like the Miami Herald. Only a slob court allows a creep like Toyota to use subpoena power as a tool of harassment against people - in Benjaminson's case, there are 21 named targets - who have dared to speak out against Toyota's inane efforts to blame its unintended acceleration scandal on floor mats, sticky gas pedals, and driver confusion.

Amidst deaths, injuries, and government-promoted lies galore, there's a word for what's going on. It's called tyranny.

Update 8/23/2014 - Speaking of tyranny, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts - one of the few voices of sanity left on the planet - published a great article yesterday, "How Tyranny Arises."

Government the "Toyota Way"

A government serving the interests of the public would be sending Toyota executives to prison. Instead, consumers are confronted with corporate-controlled thugs refusing to acknowledge - publicly, at least - compelling evidence of electronic defects in the Recall King's throttle control. So what if people get injured or killed? Isn't it ridiculous when taspayers have reason to doubt the government's story of what the terms were when a crook like Toyota handed over $1.2 billion in payola to end a federal criminal investigation? Toyota is notorious for confidentiality agreements, and nobody can be blamed for wondering if an admission of covering up electronic defects associated with unintended acceleration was part of the deal Toyota cut with the feds.

First off, there was the weird language used by mainstream media, "hinting" that Toyota had admitted to covering up electronic defects. Then the feds exhibited a high-handed attitude when confronted with evidence of electronic defects in Toyota's throttle control. Now, claims are being made that Toyota's billion dollar federal criminal settlement did in fact have to do with concealing electronic defects in its throttle control. At least two attorneys, and an Orlando TV station have come right out and said so. One of the attorneys is the highly prominent Bob Hilliard, currently representing unjustly imprisoned Toyota driver Koua Fong Lee. Furthermore, two of the news reports addressed Toyota's criminal settlement in the context of reporting a fatal crash strongly suggestive of electronically-induced unintended acceleration. It's beginning to look like the public has been lied to - not only by NHTSA - but also by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Don't be misled by the government's mainstream media stooges. Unintended acceleration events are continuing - probably on a larger scale than most folks realize - and it's a hoot the way news media avoids divulging too many details - such as a vehicle's model and year - when accidents are reported. Cases suggesting electronically-induced unintended acceleration pop up constantly, such as this 5/3/2014 mishap in Natick, Massachusettes. The vehicle's year wasn't reported, but it was a Toyota Camry. And it's amazing the way accident investigators are usually so quick to consider every conceivable possibility - dutifully reported by the news media - except an electronic problem. Of course, as word spreads regarding evidence of electronic issues, the tune seems to be changing. Exceptionally well-credentialed electrical engineer Dr. Antony Anderson - as part of his recent study published in the prestigious IEEE Access - estimates that 10,000 unintended acceleration events occur worldwide each year. In fact, so many vehicles are crashing into public buildings that the issue of storefront safety is now being addressed by non-profit organizations. Problem is, amidst government efforts to keep things quiet, these well-intentioned groups are failing to address compelling evidence of electronic issues while admirably encouraging the installation of safety barriers.

Granted, storefront crashes are caused by a variety of things, and nobody knows what percentage of these crashes are caused by electronically-induced unintended acceleration. But the mere fact that parking is involved is enough to raise eyebrows. Accounts of unintended acceleration events show some common denominators. Most of these events begin at a slow speed, driver's foot likely on the brake pedal when the unintended acceleration starts. Events occurring in parking lots, driveways, and garages are typical, as evidenced by today's report of a Camry crashing into a home in Rochester, New Hampshire last night. Embedded systems expert Michael Barr addressed this situation in testimony that won the landmark lawsuit against Toyota last October in Oklahoma. He found that a driver in such a situation would have to remove their foot from the brake pedal and instantaneously reapply pressure to stand any chance at all of stopping the vehicle. With only seconds to spare before a collision, it's unlikely that enough pressure could be applied quickly enough to avoid a crash. Elderly drivers are at even more of a disadvantage, because extra forceful pedal pressure is required. Let's review once again (see trade journal EDN Network's article, "Toyota's killer firmware: Bad design and its consequences") what Mr. Barr concluded:

>  Toyota's electronic throttle control system (ETCS) source code is of unreasonable quality.
>  Toyota's source code is defective and contains bugs, including bugs that can cause unintended acceleration (UA)
>  Code-quality metrics predict presence of additional bugs.
>  Toyota's fail safes are defective and inadequate (referring to them as a 'house of cards' safety architecture).
>  Misbehaviours of Toyota's ETCS are a cause of UA.

It's a shame when the public has to depend on a few trade journals for information about what led a jury to find a crook like Toyota guilty of reckless disregard in the design of its electronic throttle control. Take a look at yesterday's EE Times article, "Video: Michael Barr Speaks of Software That Kills."

The government - Repukes and Demagogues alike - isn't ignorant. Or underfunded. Or merely inefficient. The government is crooked. Enter NHTSA's big lie that NASA had ruled out electronics as a cause of unintended acceleration in Toyotas. Enter NHTSA's complicity in allowing GM to avoid recalling millions of units for defective ignition switches, ignoring evidence of a problem, including deadly crashes. Driving the point home, NASA physicist Henning Leidecker is warning of increased risk of unintended acceleration in '02-'06 Camrys due to "tin whiskers" in the throttle control. The models Dr. Leidecker are concerned about have one of the highest rates of unintended acceleration. And never mind that Toyota's unintended acceleration events increased dramatically after the company introduced electronic throttle controls in 2002.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what's going on as the government now wrings its blood-drenched hands over GM's ignition switch scandal. Not to worry. Ol' Sammy's "Justice Department" will make sure, Toyota style, that nobody at GM - not to mention NHTSA - winds up in prison. Meanwhile, as Toyota rushes to settle hundreds of remaining unintended acceleration cases, the tax-paying public is left to wonder if the Recall King has corrected the problems Mr. Barr found in the automaker's electronics.

It takes gall for NHTSA and Toyota to say that the increased risk of unintended acceleration in '02-'06 Camrys isn't enough to warrant public concern. And it's downright insulting when the "Justice Department" simply refuses to comment when questioned about Michael Barr's findings. How much longer are Americans gonna put up with a government - Repukes and Demagogues alike - that lies with impunity, thumbs its ugly nose at anyone who dares to ask justifiable questions, and allows crooks like Toyota and GM to treat people like dirt?

What you aren't supposed to know about Toyota's software (and hardware) causing sudden unintended acceleration

"Although the investigation focused almost entirely on software, there is at least one HW factor: Toyota claimed the 2005 Camry's main CPU had error detecting and correcting (EDAC) RAM. It didn't. EDAC, or at least parity RAM, is relatively easy and low-cost insurance for safety-critical systems." Michael Dunn, "Toyota's killer firmware: Bad design and its consequences"

Amidst computer-related problems galore prompting this week's recalls (Prius along with a number of other models), there's a few articles from Michael Barr's peers providing a detailed look at why the Oklahoma jury was justified in returning a verdict of guilty in what's now being referred to as a "landmark" case of sudden unintended acceleration, and why the jury underscored their conclusion by stating that Toyota acted with "reckless disregard" in its response to its electronic throttle control. Michael Barr's findings were corroborated by 150 feet of skid marks from Bookout's tires.

One of the best peer-group articles I found is "Toyota's killer firmware: Bad design and its consequences," by Michael Dunn. I'll call it article A. Further revelations can be expected at the upcoming EE Times conference which will feature presentations - including the keynote address - from Michael Barr himself.

It's downright alarming to compare article A (from EDN Network) with the presstitute media's misleading blabber, epitomized by Paul Barrett's hack job via no less of a media mogul than Bloomberg. I'll call that piece article B. Both articles came out shortly after the Oklahoma trial ended.

The Barrett/Bloomberg blabber is precisely that. No mention of the name Michael Barr. A feigned ignorance of those 150 feet of skid marks from Bookout's tires. Gibberish designed to brainwash rather than inform. "Should judges be allowing plaintiffs' lawyers to continue pressing the issue in court?" opines the mogul-backed Barrett. Pure, unadulterated garbage.

Problem is, it's not just Barrett and Bloomberg protecting the Recall King at the public's expense. It's the entire mainstream media gang. The kinda stuff that prompted former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts to remark that "Anyone who wastes their time on the US media is a brainwashed idiot, a danger to humanity." (see "America Totally Discredited") For some strange reason, Bloomberg, Reuters, USA Today, and Minnesota's Star Tribune block my comments.

Compare the two articles. Get a proper perspective on Toyota's current rush to settle hundreds of remaining cases outside of court. Discern Toyota's underlying motive in buying their way out of the current federal criminal investigation as to how they handled complaints of sudden unintended acceleration. Get a firsthand look at how the U.S. media accomplishes mass indoctrination.

Blaming sudden unintended acceleration on driver error, floor mats, etc. is a well-orchestrated scam that's been goin' on for decades. Published after the landmark trial in Oklahoma, Tom Murray brings us up to date - including the government's longstanding efforts to protect the auto industry - in his 11/27/2013 book, "Deadly by Design." For another informative read, check out "The Myth of Driver Error."

The "land of the free" has become a corporate-controlled nightmare.
